Removal of Conditions from Green Card

Removal of Conditions from Green Card

A conditional permanent resident receives a Green Card valid for two years. To remove the conditions on your permanent resident status, you must file a petition within the 90-day period before your conditional Green Card expires. Bear in mind that your conditional Green Card is not renewable. If your conditions are not removed, you will lose your permanent resident status and you will become removable from the U.S.
